Perfectly located for easy access to both Windermere and Bowness; Wonderful warm welcome, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated accommodation, superbly comfortable bed. Breakfast menu offered a good selection of good quality ingredients cooked to perfection. Service was excellent, All Covid precautions in place to ease concerns. Only downside was we didn't stay long enough. Whilst we didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening, if the breakfasts are anything to go by. .we missed out! Thank you for a very enjoyable short stay. .wishing you all the very best.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We didn’t know what to expect when we arrived at this hotel but we are so happy this is where we chose to stay. Upon checking in I couldn’t help but notice how clean the reception and bar area was, and how friendly the lady who greeted us was. We were in a room on the second floor and it was immaculate! Very clean and tidy, very well looked after and the decor was amazing too. We had no noise complaints at all and both of us slept soundly through both nights of our stay. We didn’t eat an evening meal in the restaurant but we did take advantage of the free breakfast which was lovely, there was plenty to choose from to set us up for the day. On the day we checked out we loaded up the car only to realise that we had a flat battery, I asked at reception if it was okay for us to wait in the bar area while somebody came out to get us on the road again, which was not a problem for them. We were really grateful as we could have waited hours and it was pouring down with rain. But before we could get anyone out to us, a man (who I believe to be one of the owners - I completely forgot to ask for his name) offered to jump start my vehicle for me, which again, me and my partner were so grateful for, especially as he got absolutely drenched helping us out! The act of kindness shown here along with the hospitality shown by the staff and the high standard that this hotel offers means that we will no doubt be back here when we next visit the Lake District!
